Overview

Designed for use in Medium sized Businesses, or for Homes and Small Businesses requiring a Professional DVR solution.
The Xvision X16D DVR outperforms its competitors by offering the best reliability, features, picture quality and value for money in the Xvision range.

Remote Networking and Mobile Phone support are standard and it records using advanced H264 compression technology, which offers better picture quality and compression than standard non H264 DVRs.

The X16D also features a DVD writer and USB port for easy back to DVR or USB Flash Drive, and an E-SATA socket for easy expansion of the recording capacity.

The H264 compression codec used provides the highest picture quality and most efficient use of recording space, allowing a 500GB hard drive (not supplied) to record for approximately 4 days in high resolution (D1) resolution, to a maximum of up to 15 days in low resolution (CIF).

Using the built in motion detection function the recording time above could be increased substantially, as the unit will only record when the cameras see movement.

For larger systems or management of multiple sites, the DVR is provided with free Central Management Software for SDC4, SDC8 and X16D DVRs.
