Overview

The Plant Nappy® is a new, light and user friendly method of spill containment; designed to replace existing, traditional drip trays. Designed to withstand all weather conditions, it is rugged enough to stand plant on it all year round to contain the odd mishap that could occur on site. Whilst encapsulating any drips or spills of oil the mat freely allows passage of water, such as rainfall, thus eliminating costly emptying of contaminated trays after use. The mat can be stood on uneven ground or slight inclines with no loss of performance ensuring your company is protected at all times. The Plant Nappy® is an easy and cost-effective way to ensure environmentally friendly practice on site, avoiding possible prosecution or monetary fine for contamination of ground and water. The design allows drips of oil or fuel to be caught in the base and rainfall to escape through the side walls as pure clean water. The base of the mat is non-permeable fabric laminated with an oil soak filter, to absorb the oil, and protected by a permeable top fabric to allow free passage of contaminants. The side wall is permeable with a filter fabric that allows free passage of water but not oil. It only discharges clean water. Liners can be purchased for the Plant Nappy which help extend its life. The liner fits snugly in the base of the Nappy. Cleaning is simple, as the liner is easy to remove. Currently available in 3 standard sizes, but other sizes can be manufactured to order.
